I was introduced to CrossFit in 2010 when a friend of mine opened his gym in Carmel, Indiana. His introductory class and boot camp made me feel so out of shape. I have always been an athlete and was running half marathons, but my strength needed much improvement. I hadn’t lifted weights since high school and while I played volleyball for years, I still couldn’t perform simple strength movements. After a couple of weeks of CrossFit I was hooked. I got my Level 1 in October 2010 and haven’t looked back. I have a passion for helping people reach their undiscovered potential and celebrate each victory, no matter how big or small.
