Since we are concerned with our athletes’ overall health, it is important to address how stress affects sleep, nutrition and overall wellness. Stress, as you know, is terrible for you; chronic stress can cause you to retain fat even with the best exercise and nutrition program, suppress your immune system, and generally affect your mood and mental hygiene adversely.
